Science Day!!

Some of our indoor science experiments didn't go as planned but everybody had a blast doing our outside experiments.

Ms. Michelle put pop rocks into a balloon then placed the balloon on top of a coke bottle and attempted to make the inflate.

For the penguin experiment we made Elephant Toothpaste, which is a combination of peroxide, yeast, water and soap. When you mix all the parts together you get a foamy mess!

For Ms. Emily's experiment she did a chalk explosion. In a baggie she mixed corn starch, vinager and food coloring. Once we got outside she had some friends help her drop a paper towel ball full of baking soda. When the paper towel was soaked with the vinager mixture the bag inflated and then exploded.

For our last and final experiment we put some mentos into a 2 littler bottle of coke and watched it explode.
